Parent-Teacher Advisory Council (PTAC)
The Pleasantview Elementary Parent-Teacher Advisory Council (PTAC) is instrumental in supporting a variety of functions and activities throughout the school year and serves in an advisory capacity on issues related to Pleasantview.
The PTAC is a non-profit group of parents and school staff who work collaboratively to plan and provide safe and engaging family activities. Some of these include:
- School 5K
- Cabin Fever event
- Spring Carnival event
This group also supports field trips and school improvement activities. These efforts are supported by one or two fundraising efforts each year.
If you are interested in being involved in your student's school, please consider joining the PTAC. All parents are welcome to attend any of the meetings.
The PTAC meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month, except in December, unless noted on the district calendar. Please come and join us! We would love to hear about your ideas to make Pleasantview Elementary even better.
